Infosys and Anthropic Join Forces to Deploy AI Agents Across Regulated Industries By cioNetworks - 17 February 2026

Infosys

Infosys and Anthropic have entered a strategic collaboration to develop and deploy enterprise AI solutions tailored for complex, compliance-driven sectors, beginning with telecommunications and extending into financial services, manufacturing, and software development.

The alliance integrates Infosys Topaz AI offerings with Anthropic’s Claude models, including Claude Code, to automate sophisticated workflows, accelerate software delivery, and build agentic AI systems designed for industries requiring strong governance and operational transparency.

As an initial step, the two companies will launch a dedicated Anthropic Centre of Excellence focused on telecommunications, where AI agents will be built and deployed to modernize network operations, streamline customer lifecycle management, and improve service delivery in one of the most tightly regulated sectors.

In financial services, the collaboration targets faster risk detection, automated compliance reporting, and personalized customer interactions. For manufacturing and engineering, Claude models will accelerate product design and simulation, reducing research and development cycles. Software development teams will deploy Claude Code to write, test, and debug applications, shortening the journey from design to production.

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei highlighted Infosys’ deep domain expertise across telecom, financial services, and manufacturing, noting that developers are already using Claude Code to build AI agents requiring precision and compliance.

Infosys CEO Salil Parekh emphasized leveraging the combined expertise of both organizations to accelerate AI value realization for global enterprises across intelligent risk management, compliance automation, and AI-driven design.

The partnership builds on Infosys’ growing AI ecosystem, which recently expanded to include deployment of Devin, the AI software engineer, across its internal engineering teams and client engagements through its Topaz Fabric platform.
