Vineet Jaiswal has joined Essar Oil (UK) as Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO). Essar Oil (UK) is a portfolio business of Essar Global Fund Limited (EGFL). It is the leading UK-focused downstream energy company. Its main asset is the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, one of the most advanced refineries in Europe, situated close to the major cities of Liverpool and Manchester.

Most recently, Jaiswal was the Group CDO & CTO at Vedanta Resources. In this role, he spearheaded group-wide digital, IT, and innovation functions for the organisation to bring in positive business impact across the value chain resulting in improvement of top-line/bottom-line as well as ESG benefits.

In a career spanning over three decades, Jaiswal has amassed a breadth of experience, working with organisations like GE Digital, GE Energy Connections GE Consumer & Industrial, JSW, and Vedanta Resources.
