On Monday, Godrej & Boyce announced that its Godrej MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health Engineering) division had been granted an MEP contract for the Bangalore International Airport (BLR Airport) project worth Rs 107 crore.
According to the Godrej Group’s flagship company, the project would include a Multi-Model Transportation Hub (MMTH) that will be developed between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of the BLR airport and will encompass around nine lakh square feet.
The MMTH will be able to handle present and future needs for both people and luggage mobility once Terminal 2 is online, according to the statement.

“The purpose of this MMTH is to have closed parking with ground-level retail development.” Godrej MEP will complete the project in little under six months with the installation of 75 kilometers of piping and 200 kilometers of cables,” according to the release.
