Reliance Consumer Products Limited has named Arpan Basu as its new Vice President & Head of Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability. His skills include communication management, crisis communications, brand management,  media strategy, corporate branding, and online reputation management.

Before joining Reliance, Basu was the Senior Director of Strategic Communications in Eurasia and the Middle East at the Coca-Cola Company. He worked with the company for nine years and was responsible for the development and delivery of communication strategy, creating country-specific narratives, and connecting with targeted stakeholders through nationally relevant platforms and tools.

His career includes stints at Max Life Insurance, Max New York Life Insurance, Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd, and FICCI. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Calcutta University, Kolkata, and an MBA from Ohio University.

Basu took to his LinkedIn account to announce his appointment. He wrote, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President & Head – Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability at Reliance Consumer Products Limited!”
