A leading global digital infrastructure provider, Tata Communications have announced that it has appointed Amur Swaminathan Lakshminarayanan as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.
The firm in a regulatory listing said, “Board of Directors (“Board”) of Tata Communications Limited (“the Company”), has today, appointed Mr. Amur Swaminathan Lakshminarayanan as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company for a term of five years with effect from 26 November 2019.”
The firm also said that his appointment is also subjected to approvals from the shareholders of the company.
Lakshminarayanan was the President and CEO of TCS, Japan earlier to joining Tata Comm. He was responsible for accelerating firms’ market opportunity along with enhancing the brand in the region.

He is a pass out from London Business School and BITS, Pilani. He has worked in Australia, the USA, Hong Kong, the UK along with other countries.
