Google has selected 20 AI-first startups from over 2,500 applications for the 2026 cohort of its Google for Startups Accelerator: India programme. The selected startups represent sectors including agentic AI, healthcare, climate tech, developer tools, enterprise software, and digital infrastructure.
The accelerator is a three-month, equity-free programme designed for Seed to Series A startups building AI-native products and foundational technologies. Participants will receive mentorship from Google experts, technical support, AI and cloud resources, and guidance on scaling their businesses.
According to Google, the programme aims to support the next generation of Indian AI innovators and help startups build globally competitive products using advanced AI technologies. The cohort reflects the growing strength of India’s AI ecosystem and the increasing adoption of AI across industries.

The accelerator will run from June to September 2026, culminating in a Demo Day where participating startups will showcase their solutions to investors, industry leaders, and ecosystem partners.
