Pixxel and Sarvam AI have partnered to build an orbital data centre satellite. The collaboration was announced recently and brings together Pixxel’s space technology capabilities with Sarvam AI’s work in artificial intelligence.
According to the announcement, the two companies are working towards developing a satellite designed to support data processing and AI workloads in space. The initiative is focused on enabling computing capabilities in orbit, allowing data to be processed beyond traditional ground-based data centre infrastructure.
The planned satellite is intended to function as a platform for handling data and running AI-driven processes in a space environment. By taking computing capabilities into orbit, the collaboration seeks to explore new approaches to processing data and supporting artificial intelligence applications.
