Godrej Agrovet Ltd. appoints Sunil Kataria as its Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director – Designate. Sunil, formerly the CEO & MD of Raymond Lifestyle, steps into this leadership role, succeeding Balram Singh Yadav, whose tenure ends on August 31, 2025.

According to a regulatory filing with the BSE, he assumes the role starting May 5, 2025, and continues until August 31, 2025, before officially taking over as CEO & MD for a five-year term from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2030. His appointment awaits shareholder approval.

A seasoned business leader with over three decades of experience in consumer goods, telecom, and retail, he drives large-scale business transformation and organisational growth. He specialises in sales, marketing, strategy, and leadership.

Sunil begins his career at Marico, where he spends over a decade honing his skills in sales and marketing. He holds a degree in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA in Marketing from IMT Ghaziabad.

Balram Singh Yadav, whom Sunil succeeds, has served Godrej since 1990. He plays a key role in establishing the company’s poultry business and launches renowned brands like Real Good Chicken and Yummiez in India. He also contributes to national and international discussions on food and agriculture.
