Best Power Equipments (BPE) names Sushil Virmani as Managing Director By Elets News Network - 04 April 2023

Sushil Virmani has been named managing director of BPE (Best Power Equipments). As a power industry veteran, Sushil Virmani, will be critical in propelling BPE’s growth as a global player. Virmani was previously the managing director of Socomec Innovative Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for approximately 8 years. Socomec has achieved profitable business growth and consistently outperformed the market in all areas of operations, including power control and systems, critical power, energy efficiency, and so on, under his leadership.

BPE’s Founder and Group Managing Director, Amitansu Satpathy, welcomed Mr. Sushil Virmani as its Managing Director, saying, “In the last 20 years, we have built a strong customer base and channel network.” Amitansu expressed confidence in Virmani’s leadership and added that the company’s goal is to build a large enterprise customer base globally. We look forward to a new golden era under his leadership when BPE will be the best power company in the world.


“I am excited about my new role,” Sushil Virmani said upon his appointment. I am looking forward to new challenges as well as the opportunity to further strengthen our customer base by leveraging the existing channel base and introducing a product portfolio based on market insights.”

Virmani has also been with Eaton for nearly 15 years. As Director—Sales and Service, he was in charge of Eaton Electrical product sales and service in South Asia. When Eaton’s startup operation was established in the year 2000, he was among the first few employees. He has worked at Eaton in a variety of capacities, including product management, sales and service, channel development, strategic planning, business process development, and six sigma certifications.

Before Eaton, Mr. Virmani worked for close to 14 years with Siemens and rose to the position of chief manager. He was responsible for selling and marketing industrial products and systems in North India. He has also worked with Siemens AG in Erlangen, where he spent a few years, gained excellent exposure to international business, and improved his competence in handling large projects. The tenure also helped him enhance his knowledge of various industrial applications to provide the best techno-commercial solutions to the industry.
