
Google has appointed Sanjay Gupta as President of Asia Pacific. He served as the Country Head and Vice President of Google India and has more than 30 years of experience in this industry.
Before joining Google, Gupta served as the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Star India and, prior to that, as the Chief Marketing Officer (Mobility) of Bharti Airtel. He has also worked with Hindustan Unilever. Gupta has a degree in engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering, and he earned his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.

Announcing his appointment through his LinkedIn profile. He wrote, “As I start my new role as Google’s APAC President, this serves as a powerful reminder of the role we play as an enabler. APAC isn’t just any region; it’s the heart of global growth and innovation, home to half the world’s population and poised to lead the tech revolution.” Gupta succeeds Scott Beaumont, who is retiring from Google.
