2nd Elets Digital Natives Summit

The 2nd Elets Digital Natives Summit, organised by Elets Technomedia and supported by digital partner ONDC, took place on May 16, 2024, at the Holiday Inn Aerocity, New Delhi. Under the theme “Revolutionising Businesses with Digital-First Strategies,” the summit emerged as an important event for exploring the transformative impact of generative AI, cloud computing, and ERP advancements on modern enterprises.

The summit was a perfect gathering, bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and industry pioneers to discuss and demonstrate the future of business in a digital-first world. With an agenda packed with insightful panel discussions, engaging fireside chats, and cutting-edge technological presentations, the event provided an unparalleled platform for networking and knowledge exchange.

The summit also featured the prestigious 2nd Elets Startup Awards 2024, celebrating the innovation and achievements of startups and the visionaries driving their success.

Delivering his welcome address, Dr. Ravi Gupta, Founder, CEO & Editor-in-Chief, Elets Technomedia said, “Digital natives are an emerging trend in the country and have become a buzzword these days. The Elets Digital Native Summit is our attempt to bring together all key stakeholders and emerging startups under one umbrella to discuss trends and challenges regarding digital adoption and deployment in their organisations and how they can collaborate with other stakeholders to bring about real change.”

Nitin Mishra, Chief Technology Officer at ONDC, explained that e-commerce growth had stagnated over the past 4-5 years. The COVID-19 pandemic revealed significant capacity issues, prompting DPIIT to develop an unbundled framework to democratise the platform, resulting in ONDC. This initiative offers consumers more options without switching platforms and provides sellers access to a larger demand pool, addressing both demand and supply challenges.

Anand Bala, Head of Commercial & SMB at Zoom, recounted that in response to COVID-19 four years ago, they quickly innovated by introducing an AI-infused meeting platform to ensure seamless workflow. Zoom has since evolved from a meeting tool to a comprehensive suite of products and services, enhancing customer experience and reflecting proactive adaptation to changing needs and technological advances.

Delivering his technological presentations Aditya Garg, Head of Solution Consulting, Genesys, India said, “In today’s world, customer satisfaction must be at the forefront of any organisation’s priorities. A staggering 86% of people worldwide believe a company is only as good as its service. In 2023, 31% of customers ceased doing business with companies following negative customer experiences. At Genesys, we are committed to fostering transformative customer experiences by excelling in these areas and ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.”

The summit was supported by key partners including Genesys, Zoom, and The Nitrogen Platform, whose contributions were instrumental in the event’s success.

The 2nd Elets Digital Natives Summit 2024 was a resounding success, setting a new benchmark for future events. It continues to lead the way in innovation and collaboration within the digital business landscape.
