Yotta Data Services has named Anil Pawar as its Chief AI Officer and head of its AI Cloud Business Unit, a significant move that underscores the company’s commitment to advancing its AI strategy. This appointment comes from Yotta’s substantial investment in enhancing its AI capabilities.

In his new role, Pawar will lead strategic initiatives including AI-as-a-service (AIaaS), AI platform-as-a-service (AIPaaS), AI software-as-a-service (AISaaS), and the large language model (LLM) marketplace within Yotta’s Shakti Cloud Business Unit. He will report directly to Sunil Gupta, Yotta’s co-founder, Managing Director, and CEO.

Pawar’s appointment is a key component of Yotta‘s shift towards expanding its cloud services platforms, such as Shakti and Yntraa. His prior experience includes leading tech strategy at Rakuten Japan, where he spearheaded AI programs and AI cloud transformation initiatives. Additionally, Pawar played a crucial role in establishing one of the world’s largest data-driven networks at Reliance Jio.

Sunil Gupta commented on the new appointment, stating, “Anil brings with him his rich experience in the field of AI and digital transformation. I’m optimistic that in his new role at Yotta, he will help strengthen our position and help our clients unlock their true potential.”
