Former CEO of Infosys Vishal Sikka has been appointed to the board of directors of Oracle. He holds expertise in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). He has recently launched his own AI startup — Vianai Systems.
Sikka in his new role will be directing Oracle to develop its business value in this rapidly changing technological environment.

Earlier to launching his own startup, he was associated with Infosys as its CEO and a leading top executive at SAP.
“Vishal clearly understands how Oracle’s Gen2 Cloud Infrastructure, Autonomous Database, and Applications come together in the Oracle Cloud to help our customers drive business value and adapt to change,” said Safra Catz, CEO, Oracle said.
