Bharat Aluminium Company Limited, a part of Vedanta Group, has deployed ALAISA, an AI-powered humanoid assistant, at its smelter complex in Chhattisgarh to strengthen shop-floor capability, improve operational efficiency, and enhance industrial safety.

In the initial phase of deployment, ALAISA has already trained more than 100 employees by providing real-time guidance on standard operating procedures, maintenance practices, and workplace safety protocols directly at the point of operation. The initiative is aimed at enabling faster learning, better decision-making, and improved workforce readiness in live industrial environments.

Rajiv Kumar, CEO of Vedanta Aluminium, said the rollout of ALAISA reflects the company’s commitment to building intelligent and future-ready systems that enhance human capability. He added that combining AI-driven insights with shop-floor expertise is helping improve safety standards, process reliability, and workforce confidence.
