Mohit Joshi has been named Tech Mahindra’s MD and CEO designate by the company’s board of directors. Mohit will succeed CP Gurnani as MD and CEO when he retires on December 19, 2023. To allow for adequate transition time, he will join Tech Mahindra well before that date.

Mohit Joshi will join Tech Mahindra from Infosys, where he served as President. Mohit has over two decades of experience in the Enterprise technology software and consulting space, having worked with some of the world’s largest corporations to drive digital transformation and build thriving businesses.

Mohit was the Head of the Global Financial Services & Healthcare and Software businesses at Infosys, where he oversaw Finacle (the banking platform) and the AI / Automation portfolio. Mohit also oversaw Infosys’ Sales Operations and Transformation, as well as executive responsibility for all large deals across the organisation. He was also in charge of the company’s internal CIO function as well as the Infosys Knowledge Institute.

Mohit has been a Non-Executive Director at Aviva Plc since 2020, and he serves on the company’s Risk & Governance and Nomination committees.

Mohit joined the World Economic Forum’s prestigious Young Global Leaders programme in 2014, and he is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Mohit has previously served as the CBI’s Vice Chair of the Economic Growth Board (Confederation of British Industry).

Mohit worked in corporate and investment banking for ABN AMRO and ANZ Grindlays before joining Infosys in 2000. Mohit has lived and worked in Asia, America, and Europe, and he currently resides in London with his wife and two daughters.
