Pioneer India has elevated Aniket Kulkarni as its new Managing Director. He is taking over from Ken Takagi, and will report directly to Shiro Yahara, President and Group CEO of Pioneer Corporation, Japan. Kulkarni will focus on introducing new products and solutions tailored to the unique needs of Indian customers.

Kulkarni joined Pioneer in December 2023. He has 20 years of experience in automotive OEM sales and business development. He has held leadership roles at companies like Premium Sound Solutions, Harman, and Cerence, where he led successful sales efforts in India.

Kulkarni remarked that although India is one of the fastest-growing automotive markets globally, it presents a unique set of challenges in meeting the diverse needs and preferences of Indian customers. He expressed excitement about stepping into this new role, emphasizing Pioneer’s strong reputation for quality and innovation, and looked forward to collaborating with the team to drive greater success for Pioneer in India.

Shiro Yahara, President and CEO of Pioneer Corporation, said that with a new R&D team in India, the company aims to launch products specifically designed for the Indian market, positioning it to shape the future of mobility experiences in the region.
