Pidilite Industries has announced Sudhanshu Vats as its upcoming Managing Director, with his tenure beginning in April 2025. Vats will succeed Bharat Puri, the current CEO and MD, retiring after a decade of leadership. Sudhanshu who joined Pidilite in 2021 as the Deputy Managing Director, has an extensive background of over 30 years in leadership roles across the media, broadcasting, and FMCG industries. His previous positions include leadership roles at EPL Ltd., Viacom18, Unilever, the Broadcast Audience Research Council India, the Confederation of Indian Industry, and BP (Castrol) India. Vats is an alumnus of NIT Kurukshetra and IIM Ahmedabad, holding a BTech in Mechanical Engineering and a Post-graduate Diploma in Management, respectively.

Kavinder Singh has also been named the Executive Director and Joint Managing Director Designate of Pidilite, effective April 2025. Currently the MD and CEO at Mahindra Holidays and Resorts, Kavinder returns to Pidilite where he previously held the role of CEO for the Consumer Products division until 2014.

M B Parekh, the Executive Chairman of Pidilite Industries, expressed his enthusiasm about the new appointments, stating they signify the upcoming stage in Pidilite’s leadership evolution. Parekh conveyed his anticipation of collaborating with Sudhanshu and Kavinder to forge the future of Pidilite.
