NTT DATA is planning to acquire Niveus Solutions, a cloud engineering firm known for its expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, to improve its cloud capabilities, meet the surging global demand for cutting-edge cloud solutions, and cement the company’s position as a leading Google Cloud system integrator worldwide.

Once the deal is finalised, Niveus Solutions will bring its team of 1,000 GCP professionals to NTT DATA’s Google Cloud Business Unit. These experts have skills in areas like modernising systems on GCP, data engineering, and artificial intelligence. With experience in industries such as finance, manufacturing, automotive, retail, and logistics, Niveus will enhance NTT DATA’s ability to create industry-specific cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, and tailored to clients’ needs.

Charlie Li, Head of Cloud and Security Services at NTT DATA, said this move accelerates the organisation to the forefront of AI-driven cloud solutions, enabling clients to fast-track their digital transformations and achieve impactful business outcomes across diverse industries.

This acquisition builds on NTT DATA’s growing partnership with Google Cloud, which focuses on developing advanced data analytics and GenAI solutions for enterprise clients. Leveraging proven industry blueprints and best practices, the partnership aims to deliver innovative, industry-specific solutions backed by NTT DATA’s expertise.

Suyog Shetty, the CEO and co-founder of Niveus Solutions, said the partnership allows them to bring their GCP talent and expertise to a global stage, leveraging India’s vibrant pool of skilled professionals. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be finalised in the next 30–60 days.
