Nikhil, a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role.

Previously, Nikhil served as the Executive Vice President & Global Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at JSW Group, where he played a pivotal role in driving digital initiatives and technological advancements. His career has spanned various industry giants, including SAP, HCL, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and Oil India Limited, where he made significant contributions.

His impressive track record boasts several CIO and CDO recognitions, underlining his proficiency and leadership in the digital domain. He was acknowledged as SAP “Top Talent” consecutively in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2020, reflecting his consistent excellence. Between 2019 and 2021, he received 17 awards, including “Most Valuable Player” and “Appreciate” awards, showcasing his exceptional skill and dedication.

In his new role at Liberty Steel Group, Nikhil will leverage his extensive experience in business and technical leadership, particularly in growth and organizational transformation scenarios. His background in Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemicals, Mining & Metals, Process Manufacturing, and Ports industries, combined with his academic foundation in Petroleum Engineering, positions him uniquely to lead Liberty Steel’s digitalization efforts.

His responsibilities will include aligning IT strategy with business strategy, overseeing technology projects and change management programs, and fostering a continuous learning culture within his teams. His appointment is a testament to Liberty Steel Group’s commitment to integrating advanced technology and innovative practices to drive the company’s growth and efficiency in the ever-evolving industrial landscape.
