In a major boost to Telangana’s technology ecosystem, global streaming giant Netflix has announced the establishment of its new office in Hyderabad, leasing 41,000 sq. ft. at Capitaland ITPH Block A, HITEC City.

With this, Hyderabad joins a select group of global cities hosting the complete FAANG lineup— Meta, Amazon, Apple, Google, and Netflix—further solidifying its position as a global technology powerhouse.

The move underscores Hyderabad’s emergence as a preferred destination for multinational corporations, driven by its skilled talent pool, robust infrastructure, industry-friendly policies, and strong governance framework.

Today, Hyderabad is home to over 300 Global Capability Centres (GCCs), housing tech and innovation hubs of leading enterprises such as Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Google, Qualcomm, Salesforce, Uber, Micron, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Novartis, AstraZeneca, and Roche, among others.

Beyond technology, the city continues to lead India’s life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors, with Genome Valley serving as the nerve centre for global biotech and pharma innovation.

Netflix’s entry adds yet another global name to Hyderabad’s dynamic growth story, marking a new milestone in its journey as one of the world’s most trusted destinations for innovation and investment.
