Google India has appointed Mitul Shah as its Managing Director for Devices and Services Business. He will head Pixel’s sales and expansion efforts in India, he announced via his LinkedIn account. He called Pixel a platform that has been designed to combine the power and possibilities offered by AI. Shah further expressed his goal to “bring the best of Google to Indian consumers” leading to a more connected and empowered society.
“It’s an honour to be part of a company that’s at the forefront of innovation, and I’m particularly thrilled to be working on a product that has the potential to put the magic and power of AI in the pockets of millions of people across my beloved country,” he wrote.

Previously the Head of Consumer Sales at Apple, Shah is experienced in strategy, sales and channel management, supply chain and operations and digital. He has also worked with organisations like Infosys, Accenture, Maersk India and several others. He holds an MBA in Systems and Supply Chain Management from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), and a certification in Advance Management Program (AMP) from MIT Sloan School of Management.
