Microsoft has partnered with the telecom network equipment maker Nokia to accelerate its digital transformation for the organisations by providing unified solutions with Microsoft’s Azure IoT solutions and Nokia’s connectivity.
On Microsoft’s Azure, the companies will host the Nokia’s Analytics, Virtualisation, and Automation (AVA) cognitive services solutions.
“The association seeks to leverage Microsoft Azure’s cloud, IoT, AI and ML solutions with Nokia’s LTE/5G-ready private wireless solutions, IP, SD-WAN, and IoT connectivity offerings to allow enterprises move out of private data centers into the Azure cloud to realise cost savings and transform operations for 5G,” as per the official statement.
BT is the first global communications service provider to offer its customers Microsoft Azure cloud and Nokia SD-WAN solutions in an integrated offering, the statement added.
