Microsoft-owned professional networking platform LinkedIn has appointed Ashutosh Gupta as Country Manager for India. He will take charge from September 2, 2019, replacing Mahesh Narayanan, who was Country Manager for India from January 2019 to June 2019.

Gupta carries an experience of more than two decades in the Internet and IT & Software Services industries across firms such as Google, Cognizant, and Infosys.

He joined LinkedIn in 2013 to lead its Marketing Solutions (LMS) in India. After that, in 2016, he moved to Singapore to build LinkedIn`s Marketing Solutions Online Sales Organisation for Asia Pacific and China. Since then, he has been serving LinkedIn, Singapore as Director then Senior Director. Now he will relocate to India from Singapore to lead off his new responsibilities in India.

Gupta will report to Olivier Legrand, LinkedIn`s Managing Director, Asia Pacific region and will join the company`s APAC senior management team. He will continue to lead the LMS Online Sales Organisation for Asia Pacific and China along with his new responsibility of LinkedIn’s country managing role.

LinkedIn has over 630 million users globally and more than 57 million members in India.
