Kumar Venkatasubramanian takes charge as P&G India’s CEO By Elets News Network - 18 March 2024

P&G India will see Kumar Venkatasubramanian stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective May 1, 2024. A distinguished alumnus of IIM-Calcutta, Kumar embarked on his P&G journey in the Indian sales division right after graduating in 2000. With a robust experience spanning nearly 24 years, predominantly in India and within various sales-related positions, he has most recently excelled as the CEO of P&G’s operations in Australia and New Zealand. In this capacity, Kumar has led the team to achieve unprecedented performance metrics, bolstered by category expansion and solidified retail collaborations, according to the company.

Before his tenure as CEO in Australia and New Zealand, Kumar dedicated his efforts to leading P&G India’s sales team up until 2020.


LV Vaidyanathan, the outgoing CEO, will be departing the company to explore new opportunities after dedicating 28 years to P&G.
