Krutrim Reports ₹300 Cr Revenue, Turns Profitable with AI Cloud Pivot By cioNetworks - 05 May 2026

Krutrim

Krutrim, India’s first AI unicorn, has reported revenue of around ₹300 crore in FY26—marking a threefold growth over the previous fiscal—while achieving its first annual net profit with a profit-after-tax margin exceeding 10%.

The company has also announced a strategic shift, repositioning itself as a domestic AI cloud services provider. It paused its chip design initiatives in late 2025 to focus on building and scaling its core AI cloud infrastructure.

As part of this pivot, Krutrim has developed a fully in-house, full-stack AI cloud platform, deployed at scale without relying on external dependencies. The company is now financially self-sustaining, with no immediate need for external funding.

Demand for its GPU compute capacity remains strong, with a majority already allocated to over 25 large enterprise clients across sectors such as telecom, financial services, healthcare, logistics, and consumer internet.

A company spokesperson stated that Krutrim has reached a key milestone by becoming profitable, self-funded, and gaining strong market traction, with its AI cloud platform built specifically for Indian enterprises by domestic engineering talent.

This strategic transition marks a significant evolution in Krutrim’s business model, with a clear focus on building sovereign, India-led AI cloud infrastructure at scale.
