French multinational hospitality company Accor has announced that it has appointed Kerrie Hannaford as its Vice President Commercial for Accor India and South Asia.
Hannaford has been part of Accor for past 15 years. Before joining Accor she had been part of IHG and Starwood Hotels in Australia.
In 2007, she was appointed as the head sales, distribution & revenue management for Australia. After that, she was made the Vice President of Global Sales for North America and was moved to the New York office.
Hannaford in 2013 was promoted to Senior Vice President and was given responsibility to cover the management of Central America and the Caribbean Hotels along with the USA and Canada.
At present, she is the Area Director of Sales and Marketing at Accor New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia where she is responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution direction of all the brands and hotels within the region.
Commenting on the appointment, Jean-Michel Cassé, COO, Accor India & South Asia said, “Being well networked and with complete mastery over Accor processes and systems in sales, marketing and distribution, Kerrie will be able to embrace her new role very quickly. Basis her vast knowledge and experience within Accor, she will be able to integrate and capitalize on our current team strengths and add tremendous value to us in the best interest of our hotels’ network in India.”
Kerrie holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Macquarie University, Sydney Australia.
