Karnataka IT Minister Priyank M Kharge met with the team from Sarvam AI to explore the use of homegrown sovereign AI technologies for governance and citizen services.
The Sarvam team showcased its Indic-language AI models, including Indus, along with multimodal tools designed for India’s diverse linguistic and regional needs.
The discussions focused on how sovereign AI can support public administration and improve citizen service delivery. Karnataka also expressed its interest in collaborating with Indian AI companies developing solutions tailored to India’s scale and requirements.
