Jyoti Structures Limited, a global Engineering, Procurement and Construction company, has appointed Amit Dutta as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately, marking his return to the organization after a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades in the power sector.

In his new capacity, Dutta will oversee operations across Jyoti Structures’ EPC portfolio with primary responsibility for execution discipline, operational governance, and ensuring timely, cost-efficient project delivery. He will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen operational effectiveness and coordinate project functions.

Dutta brings 36 years of comprehensive experience in the transmission and distribution sector, encompassing business development, tendering, project execution, and contract management. His expertise emphasizes cost control and schedule adherence, with demonstrated success delivering high-voltage and extra-high-voltage transmission projects both domestically and in international markets.

This appointment represents Dutta’s second tenure with Jyoti Structures, having originally joined in 1991 and progressed through various leadership roles over nearly three decades. Expressing enthusiasm about his return, he emphasized his commitment to supporting disciplined execution, enhancing operational efficiencies, and ensuring consistent delivery on complex infrastructure projects.

Rajesh Kumar Singh, CEO of Jyoti Structures, highlighted that Dutta’s appointment strengthens operational leadership during a critical growth phase for the company. Singh emphasized Dutta’s extensive execution experience and long-standing association with the organization as valuable assets supporting disciplined delivery and operational efficiency.

The appointment coincides with Jyoti Structures’ recent operational expansion, including commissioning galvanization operations at its second tower manufacturing facility in Nashik. The company reported robust Q3 FY2025-26 performance, demonstrating strong execution momentum and improved operational discipline.
