As part of this initiative, Infosys has contributed its Responsible AI Toolkit and AI application development framework to two newly launched open-source projects—Salus and Essedum. These projects are designed to help organizations integrate AI while mitigating risks related to bias, privacy, and security.

- Salus provides technical guidelines to identify and manage AI risks, including harmful content, privacy violations, and biased decision-making.
- Essedum facilitates the seamless integration of AI data, models, and applications into networking environments.
Arpit Joshipura, General Manager of Networking, Edge, and IoT at the Linux Foundation, highlighted the significance of open collaboration, stating, “Creating combined, open, and unified frameworks will accelerate AI-driven innovation.”

Mohammed Rafee Tarafdar, Chief Technology Officer at Infosys, emphasized the company’s commitment to responsible AI, saying, “With Infosys Topaz, we are empowering organizations to harness AI responsibly and effectively across global networks.”

Additionally, the toolkit enhances AI explainability, ensuring transparency in decision-making without compromising performance. Its flexible design allows seamless deployment across cloud and on-premise environments.
This collaboration marks a significant step in fostering ethical AI adoption, reinforcing Infosys’ role in shaping the future of AI-driven networking.
