
Somit Goyal has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IBS Software, a SaaS solutions provider for global travel, transportation, and logistics industries. Goyal, who succeeds Anand Krishnan, will assume this role effective immediately.
Goyal has held several leadership roles at Microsoft, SAP, AOL, and Oracle. In his last role, he was the President and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Pluralsight. Goyal served an 11-year tenure at Microsoft where he served as the General Manager of Modern Work and Surface, and before that as the COO of Microsoft’s Worldwide Public Sector.

He holds an MBA degree in Strategy and Marketing from the Wharton School, an MBA in General Management from INSEAD, and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Goyal has an overall experience of 20 years in the field of enterprise and consumer software specialising in executive management, sales, customer success, business strategy, product development, and management.
IBS Software provides solutions for airlines operations, air cargo management, passenger services, loyalty programs, and logistics. It offers a cloud-native platform for hotel chains, resorts, and gaming markets. The company has significant global presence, and is headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, India.
