India’s largest manufacturer of Bicycles Hero Cycles has named Shaveta Wadhera as its Group Chief Digital Officer.

Wadhera will report to Pankaj Munjal, Managing Director, Hero cycle and will operate from the Gurugram office.

She holds extensive experience in leading the large global technology program, infrastructure management, business operations and sourcing function in different organisations like General Electric and Max Newyork Life.

Earlier to this, she was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) with GE Transportation—Indian Railways JV. She was handling the IT strategy, digital transformation and overall technology stack for the company.

In her current role, she will be working on digital initiatives for setting up of Greenfield state-of-the-art industrial park in the Hi-Tech cycle valley on an immediate basis.
