HCLTech and SAP India have formed a collaboration to provide SAP-certified training for professionals in the Consulting, IT, and Engineering sectors. HCLTech will leverage SAP’s Learning platform and its proprietary Career Shaper™ platform to provide training on both new and existing SAP software.

With their combined experience, SAP and HCLTech can support 25 different industrial verticals and technology tracks. This initiative will help businesses develop talent pools with SAP software and digital competencies more quickly.

Professionals, from all career levels, will be able to acquire SAP skills essential for digital transformation, like Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), Finance and Controlling (FICO), and Production Planning (PP). They will also have access to top industry experts.

Nitish Agrawal, Chief Partner Officer of SAP Indian Subcontinent, talked about India’s vast and youthful tech talent pool, a significant asset for enterprises. He said it is essential to address the talent demand-supply gap as the country aims to leverage its demographic advantage and establish itself as a global talent hub, particularly with advancements in AI.

“This is possible only by empowering individuals with the right skills and tools. Our collaboration with HCLTech is an extension of this objective and aims to nurture a new cohort of SAP experts and prepare them for the jobs of tomorrow,” he added.

Srimathi Shivashankar, the Corporate Vice President and Global Head of EdTech Business at HCLTech, said, “Under this collaboration, we will deliver industry-led content for improving the job relevance of individuals.”
