HCLTech and Arm, a renowned processor IP vendor, have established a strategic collaboration to improve custom silicon chips that support AI-driven business operations.

The alliance will bring to market solutions that will allow semiconductor makers, system OEMs, and cloud service providers to improve the processing efficiency of their data centre environments while meeting changing consumer demands.

“HCL Tech will leverage pre-integrated Arm Neoverse Compute Subsystems (CSS) to help clients minimize development risks and swiftly deliver innovative, market-customized solutions geared toward improved performance and scalability for AI workloads,” the company said in a statement.

As a member of Arm Total Design, HCLTech gets preferred access to Neoverse CSS. This ecosystem brings together industry leaders to speed the frictionless delivery of Arm-based bespoke silicon chips. This access enables HCLTech to remain at the forefront of cutting-edge technology for efficiently managing AI workloads, including meeting the future demands of data centre environments.
