Gramophone’s long-term company executive, Navneet Singh Batra, has been promoted to Co-founder. Batra has more than a decade of experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG and agri industries.
As the co-founder, he will focus on expanding the agri-tech startup into new geographies, scaling marketing efforts, driving margins, optimising customer acquisition strategies, and broadening the brand’s reach across diverse agricultural markets.

Gramophone provides an Intelligent Farming Platform for Indian farmers. It manages the entire farming experience, from agronomy-led advice to fulfilling farm input needs. The platform serves over 50,000 villages and works with over 2 million farmers and retailers.

Previously, Batra served as the Business Head of Retail at Gramophone, responsible for end-to-end business revenue and profitability, marketing, category, and retailer financing. He also worked as the Marketing Lead for nurture.retail and held various roles at JioMart and Godrej Agrovet Limited.
Batra holds a BTech degree from the College Of Technology, G.B.P.U.A&T, Pantnagar, and an MBA in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
