Following its success in India, WebEngage announces a Southeast Asia Startup Program

WebEngage has started submissions for the WebEngage Startup Program’s Southeast Asia cohort (WSP). The ambitious initiative will assist early-stage firms in improving customer retention and engagement, establishing strong data foundations, generating actionable insights, increasing repeat orders, and better understanding customers. In a nutshell, the program will assist them in increasing their chances of aggressive yet sustainable growth.

Last season’s WSP included brands such as FamPay, Mudrex, Dezerv, AdaKerja, ApnaKlub, Innovist, Phool, Air Black, and Moglix, among others, which helped them enhance user engagement, retention, and transactions while also growing their user base. Fampay saw a 2X improvement in the onboarding funnel, a 22% rise in teen transactions, and a 40% increase in the number of referral users. Phool, another social impact D2C brand, witnessed a 23% rise in income. Using WebEngage, Air Black, an online learning platform for micro-entrepreneurs and creatives, raised its subscription rate by 13%.

“When a startup is in the quick execution mode and winning on all fronts, it is very easy to get carried away and give in to the temptation of doing more,” stated Avlesh Singh, Co-founder & CEO of WebEngage. Retaining customers is critical to building a long-term business. Unfortunately, 90% of businesses fail because they run out of money attempting to recruit new customers while neglecting to keep their old ones. We hope to assist entrepreneurs to create the groundwork for long-term retention by setting up the necessary dashboards and performing highly personalized interaction across channels through the WebEngage Startup Program.”
