Deloitte has announced the launch of its Asia Pacific Agentic AI Centre of Excellence (CoE), strategically located in India, Malaysia, and Singapore. This major initiative, backed by a team of over 6,000 experts and a project pipeline exceeding USD 1 billion, is set to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI technologies across the region.

The CoE aims to help businesses scale AI-powered transformation by combining Deloitte’s deep industry expertise with advanced technology platforms. Closely integrated with Deloitte’s Global Agentic Network, the centre supports clients in designing and deploying intelligent digital workforces that go beyond automation to enable autonomous, adaptive operations.

Sathish Gopalaiah, President of technology and transformation at Deloitte South Asia, highlighted that the centre will redefine human-AI collaboration in India. “We are moving from incremental AI applications to large-scale transformation. Our goal is to help organisations rethink work itself, introducing autonomous processes and agile operating models while ensuring responsible AI use.”

Collaborating with NVIDIA, Deloitte’s proprietary Zora AI stack empowers digital agents to autonomously handle business-critical functions in areas like finance, procurement, and sales, delivering high-speed, high-accuracy outcomes.

The CoE also accelerates innovation through rapid prototyping, access to reusable tools, and expert-led proof-of-concept development. According to Saurabh Kumar, Partner at Deloitte India, the initiative leverages India’s engineering strength and digital infrastructure to develop scalable AI solutions tailored to local and global needs. He added, “With this centre, we aim to position India as a global hub for trusted, agentic AI innovation.”

The launch marks a key step in Deloitte’s mission to drive AI maturity across industries by combining decades of business acumen with frontier AI technologies.
