Automotive Manufacturers has appointed Deepak Gupta as its Group Chief Technology and AI Officer, strengthening the company’s focus on digital transformation and artificial intelligence integration across its automotive operations.

In his new role, Gupta will spearhead the organization’s technology strategy and AI initiatives, driving innovation in manufacturing processes, supply chain optimization, and customer experience enhancement. The appointment comes as AMPL seeks to leverage emerging technologies to maintain its competitive edge in India’s rapidly evolving automotive sector.

Gupta brings extensive experience in technology leadership, having previously served as Global Head of Technology at Airtel Africa. During his tenure there, he led the successful development of FinTech products including Airtel Payments Bank and Airtel Money, implementing solutions across digital payments, merchant services, cross-border remittances, and business banking across 14 African countries.
