CRISIL Ltd. an S&P Global Company has appointed Amish Mehta as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer which is effective from October 1 , 2021. He will be responsible for leading the company’s Indian and global businesses, focused on delivering high-quality analytics, opinions and solutions to corporations, investors, financial institutions, policymakers and governments.

Speaking on his appointment, Amish Mehta, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CRISIL Ltd, said “Our commitment to sustainability and analytical excellence will remain the core guiding principles as we explore new growth opportunities in benchmarks, analytics, and insights. Amish brings in 20 years of experience across industries. Amish is a Chartered Accountant and before joining CRISIL he was the CFO of Indus Towers .During his career, he has held leadership roles in diverse organisations including BP/Castrol India, EY and ExxonMobil India. He joined CRISIL in October 2014 as President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

He was appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in July 2017, responsible for Global Analytical Center, India Research and SME, Global Innovation and Excellence (GIX) Hub and Corporate Strategy. As COO, Amish has led CRISIL’s acquisitions and change agenda while creating a growth path for the businesses managed.
