Blue Star Ltd. has announced the appointment of Udit Pahwa as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Pahwa will spearhead Blue Star’s digital transformation initiatives in his strategic role and develop comprehensive IT architecture and infrastructure strategies to drive business growth.

Pahwa brings with him over 27 years of extensive experience in the IT industry. His tenure at Kirloskar Management Services Pvt. Ltd., where he served as the Group CIO, was marked by his ability to leverage technology to address business challenges while managing costs and risks effectively. He played a pivotal role in formulating advanced IT strategies and demonstrated expertise in various domains including Business Applications (CRM, ERP, and PLM), Connected Shopfloor, and Business Data Analytics.

Before his role at Kirloskar, Pahwa was the Head of IT at Huhtamaki India Limited. A qualified Chartered Accountant, he possesses a diverse industry background in Operations Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Applications, Enterprise Architecture, and Business Process Solutions.

Pahwa has successfully implemented enterprise applications for leading organizations throughout his career, created core transactional platforms to support business growth, and led significant technology investments. He is recognized for establishing best practices and standardization, grooming high-performance teams, and executing enterprise-level technology strategies and roadmaps.

An early adopter of advanced technologies, Pahwa has expertise in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Hosted Shared Desktop (HSD). He has also co-authored the book “Automation for the Future Enterprise,” published in 2021, and has contributed to numerous publications on technology and cybersecurity topics.
