Manish Pandey has been appointed as the new Chief Information Security Officer at Airtel Payments Bank. Pandey will lead Airtel Payments Bank’s information and cyber security practice and report to Pradeep Rangi, Chief Risk Officer.

“We are pleased to welcome Manish Pandey as our new Chief Information Security Officer,” Airtel Payments Bank said in a LinkedIn post.

In this role, he will be responsible for introducing, implementing, and maintaining safe information security practices in order to strengthen the payments bank’s security framework, according to the statement.

Pandey has over 12 years of experience in various sectors, including IT and cybersecurity, cyberlaw, and data protection.

Pandey previously worked for Paytm Payments Bank before his most recent assignment.

He is a Certified Payment Card Industry Security Implementer (CPCISI) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (CPISI).

He holds a Master’s degree in Information Security and Cyber Law from the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Allahabad.
