365squared, a Route Mobile company within Proximus Global, launched 365callguard on 3 November 2026, an AI voice fraud protection platform that helps mobile operators, fixed-line operators and voice carriers detect and stop fraudulent calls before they reach subscribers. Mumbai-headquartered Route Mobile announced the launch to the BSE and NSE the same day.
The launch lands as Indian regulators push telecom companies to take more responsibility for how they use AI, including TRAI’s draft guidelines asking operators to own their AI systems and report serious failures.
What 365callguard does
According to the company, 365callguard covers seven major types of voice fraud on a single platform:
- Vishing (voice phishing) and CLI spoofing, where callers fake the number shown to the subscriber
- Wangiri or missed-call scams, and international revenue share fraud (IRSF)
- SIM box fraud, flash calls and robocalls
The platform combines dedicated AI models with rule-based detection for real-time analysis, and gives operators visibility into fraud impact and revenue protection. It plugs into existing operator infrastructure and, depending on operator policy and network capability, can automatically block a call, modify the caller ID or alert the subscriber.
Why AI voice fraud protection matters now
365squared said fraudsters are increasingly using AI and social engineering, leaving operators with growing financial losses, regulatory scrutiny and damage to subscriber trust. The same tools are being used against the public in other ways too, from AI deepfakes that prompted assurances from Home Minister Amit Shah to large fraud networks that analytics firms are now uncovering with AI, as Innefu did with a ₹5,700 crore GST racket.
“Voice fraud is evolving rapidly and becoming more difficult to detect using traditional methods. Operators need solutions that not only identify suspicious activity but also stop fraud before it affects customers,” said Tonio Ellul, Chief Executive Officer, 365squared.
“As fraudsters become more sophisticated, security has become a strategic priority for operators worldwide,” said Tushar Agnihotri, Chief Executive Officer, Route Mobile, adding that the product strengthens Proximus Global’s portfolio of trusted communications solutions.
How it fits Route Mobile and Proximus Global
365callguard extends 365squared’s existing AI-powered messaging protection platform, 365smsguard, from SMS into voice. 365squared says its solutions serve operators with a combined subscriber base of more than 600 million, with dedicated AI models for each fraud type. Its work feeds into Proximus Global’s wider communications security focus across BICS, Route Mobile and Telesign.
Indian operators have been building similar defences in-house, such as Airtel’s AI-powered fraud detection system for its subscribers. The full announcement is available in Route Mobile’s stock exchange filing.
