Cognizant has introduced Cognizant Secure AI Services, a new offering designed to help enterprises secure their artificial intelligence systems throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.

Built around the concept of “provable trust,” the service provides security coverage across AI models, data, and pipelines, both before deployment and during live production. It is specifically designed to address the unique security challenges posed by agentic and autonomous AI systems.

At runtime, the platform continuously monitors AI behavior to detect manipulation attempts, prevent unsafe actions, and maintain audit-ready evidence to support governance and compliance requirements.

Vishal Salvi, Global Head of Cognizant’s Cybersecurity Service Line, said that AI systems are increasingly adaptive and autonomous, requiring continuous assurance across build and runtime environments. He noted that the new service enables organizations to embed trust into AI systems from the outset and maintain that trust as the systems evolve.
