E-commerce firm Snapdeal has appointed Girish Koppad as Vice President & Head of Technology. Girish holds more than two decades of experience in areas namely Product Management, Software Development, Program Management, Partner Management.

At Samsung Electronics, he managed software engineering team including senior leaders in Delhi and set product development priorities and strategic direction.

Prior to this appointment, he had worked with Samsung Electronics as Senior Director of Engineering. In the past, he has been associated with brands namely Google, Motorola and many more.

At Snapdeal, Girish will be leading Technology Engineering and help spearhead development and services for technology infrastructure and data centers. He will lead the technology team in its continuing mission to further grow the platform’s capabilities to offer an enabling, intuitive and engaging experience to the millions of users who choose Snapdeal for its deep and unrivaled assortment of value merchandise.
