Rohit Ambosta has joined Sharekhan as Chief Information Officer. Sharekhan was founded in 2000 and has been a subsidiary of BNP Paribas since November 2016.

Ambosta will focus on digital transformation, new age technologies, and various technology-driven initiatives. The company is one of the first brokers to offer online trading in India. With 20 Lakh clients, 153 branches and more than 2,400 business partners in 541 locations, Sharekhan is one of the largest brokers in India.

Prior to joining Sharekhan, Ambosta was CIO and Asst Director at Angel Broking for more than 5 years. During his tenure at Angel Broking, he successfully led several IT projects and recorded the brokerage firm’s digitization journey.

He has more than 20 years of experience in IT and digital transformation. Ambosta knows the areas of business and technology alignment, software development, user interface / UX, digital customer experience and more. He has worked with global companies such as Financial Technologies Pvt Ltd, Tech Mahindra, and HCL.
