Tech Mahindra announced a partnership with Anyverse, a Spanish deep-tech firm that creates computer vision-based solutions for autonomous applications, to create autonomous technology for the automobile sector. The alliance will concentrate on quickening the deployment of AI in the automotive sector by streamlining the use of synthetic data for AI system development, testing, and validation.
As part of the collaboration, Tech Mahindra will leverage Anyverse’s platform to deliver synthetic data sets for the training, verification, and optimization of the AI systems used by its global automotive clients. It will concentrate on applications for autonomous vehicles (AV), in-cabin systems, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). According to a statement from the company, this will hasten the adoption of AI and the deadlines for software validation by 30% to 40%.

“A significant revolution is about to take place in the automobile industry, and Software-defined Vehicles (SDVs) will be at the vanguard of this change. The industry is about to undergo a transformation thanks to SDVs, which calls for a greater emphasis on CASE (Connected Autonomous Shared Electric) capabilities,” according to Narasimham RV, Global Head of Integrated Engineering Services at Tech Mahindra.

In order to enable the future of mobility solutions, he continued, “our partnership with Anyverse has a significant role in accelerating the autonomous journey of our automotive customers.”
According to the NXT.NOWTM framework, which aims to improve “Human Centric Experience,” Tech Mahindra focuses on investing in cutting-edge technologies and solutions that enable digital transformation and cater to the changing needs of the customer. This partnership with Anyverse is in line with Tech Mahindra’s focus on digital growth.
By 2035, autonomous driving could generate $300 billion to $400 billion in revenue, according to a study released in January 2023 by consulting firm McKinsey. The integration of AI technology has played a critical role in altering the automobile industry, which has seen a dramatic transition in recent years. According to the research, AI has found use in a number of facets of the automotive ecosystem, including production, design, driver assistance, autonomous driving, predictive maintenance, and more.
