Sanjay Nandavadekar has joined Syngene International as Associate VP (IT) and Head of IT for Discovery Services. He will oversee the IT department and help shape the company’s digital strategy.

Before joining Syngene International, Nandavadekar served as the Senior Director of IT at Cipla, a prominent global pharmaceutical company.

With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years, including an impressive 17 years dedicated to the pharmaceutical sector, Nandavadekar boasts a wealth of experience, having previously held positions at two of India’s leading pharmaceutical giants, Sun Pharma and Cipla. His extensive expertise is characterized by a successful track record in devising digital strategies, refining IT frameworks, orchestrating scalable infrastructures, and harmonizing them with the overarching business objectives and strategies of large global enterprises. His strategic leadership and technological acumen have been instrumental in propelling organizations towards achieving a competitive edge, enhanced automation, increased efficiency, process optimization, and digital leadership through the catalyzing power of technology. Moreover, he has consistently demonstrated his leadership prowess in managing large-scale enterprise projects aimed at process enhancement, cost-effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and optimizing return on investment.
