The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has raised ₹220 crore from strategic investors including Zoho, Uber India, One97 Communications, and BSE Technologies.

As part of the funding round, ONDC allotted 2.2 crore equity shares with a face value of ₹100 each on a private placement basis to the participating investors.

Zoho invested ₹70 crore in the round. Uber India and One97 Communications invested ₹60 crore each, while BSE Technologies invested ₹30 crore.

The investment marks another funding milestone for ONDC as it continues to expand its network and onboard more participants across the digital commerce ecosystem.

According to ONDC Chief Financial Officer Krishan Agarwal, the investment reflects growing conviction in the role of open digital networks in commerce.

He stated that the organisation will continue its broader fundraising programme.

The funds have been raised through a private placement of equity shares to the participating investors.

ONDC has been working towards expanding participation across its network by enabling buyers, sellers, logistics providers, and technology partners to transact through its open network framework.

The latest capital infusion comes as the organisation continues to strengthen its ecosystem and scale its operations.

The fundraising is part of ONDC’s ongoing efforts to support the growth of the network and increase adoption among ecosystem participants.

The organisation is also exploring additional fundraising opportunities as part of its expansion plans.

The participation of Zoho, Uber India, One97 Communications, and BSE Technologies in the funding round represents continued investor interest in ONDC’s network and its development initiatives.

With the latest investment, ONDC will continue its efforts to expand the network and drive participation across the digital commerce ecosystem.
