
Nokia has partnered with Ishan Technologies to supply equipment for broadband services. Nokia will provide its Altiplano Software-Defined Access Network (SDAN), Broadband Network Gateway (BNG), Data Center Fabric, and IP/MPLS transport network solutions. These technologies will help Ishan Technologies offer faster and more reliable broadband services to its customers.
The network upgrade will automate tasks like service activation and provisioning. It will allow quicker service rollout, lower costs, and better user experience.

Ishan Technologies is upgrading its network to expand services in Gujarat and Maharashtra. This will help meet the demand for cloud-based services and growing data needs.

Nokia will train Ishan Technologies’ team to deploy and maintain the new systems.
The partnership includes Nokia’s Lightspan DF-16GM Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) and dual-band Optical Network Terminals (ONTs). It also involves upgrading Ishan Technologies’ core and transport networks using 7250 IXR routers, 7750 BNG with CGNAT, Network Service Platform (NSP), and 7220 IXR Data Center Fabric platforms in Mumbai and Chennai.
Jivitesh Nayal from Nokia said the SDAN solution will help service providers manage their networks better. He said the platform will support new use cases and meet the needs of India’s digital economy.
