Asia’s richest man and head of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, revealed that the company is focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) at their recent Annual General Meeting (AGM). He clarified that Reliance is not about short-term profits but about long-term growth through technology.
Like Jio’s impact on India’s telecom industry, Ambani sees AI as a game-changer and intends to make it accessible and affordable for everyone. He describes AI as a major milestone in human evolution.

Ambani said Reliance is now a tech powerhouse aiming to create the world’s lowest AI costs. He believes this tech-driven transformation will push Reliance into a period of rapid growth and help the company reach the global top-30 league in the near future.

During the AGM, he introduced “Jio Brain,” a platform that boosts AI adoption across Reliance, improving decision-making and customer understanding. It is also expected to speed up AI integration in other Reliance companies.
Jio’s “AI Everywhere For Everyone” vision focuses on making AI accessible to all by offering affordable AI models and services. It plans to build large-scale AI-ready data centres in Jamnagar powered by Reliance’s green energy.
