Dabur India Limited has announced the appointment of Manas Mehra as its Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). With an extensive background in IT strategy, digital transformation, and technology-driven innovation, Mehra is set to lead the company’s digital-tech strategy, business value realisation, and adoption of emerging technologies.

Bringing over two decades of experience in the field, Mehra has played a pivotal role in spearheading digital initiatives across multiple industries, including FMCG, consumer packaged goods (CPG), telecom, public sector, oil and gas, and electric vehicle charging. Before joining Dabur, he held key leadership positions at Gulf Oil, Unilever, Deloitte, and Tech Mahindra, where he was instrumental in driving large-scale IT transformations, automation initiatives, and finance digitisation.

In his most recent role as Head of Information Technology at Gulf Oil, Mehra successfully led the Future Fit Program, optimising Systems Integrator partnerships and driving cost efficiencies. He also played a critical role in streamlining finance transformation, supplier strategy, and the adoption of robotic process automation (RPA) to enhance business operations.

During his tenure at Unilever, Mehra managed strategic technology initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders. His expertise in supplier performance transformation and digital capability adoption contributed to the company’s ongoing innovation and operational excellence. His tenure at Deloitte further solidified his leadership in end-to-end digital transformation, risk management, and enterprise application delivery.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mehra holds multiple certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Oracle Siebel expertise. He has also completed executive programs in strategic management and business leadership from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow.
